It's a portal in azure under the Microsoft Endpoint umbrella that will link everything that is Microsoft device management aka Configuration Manager and Intune. As a side note and fun fact the official name of the product was always "Configuration Manager" and never System Center Configuration Manager as explained before Configuration Manager was part of System Center product suite. This is partially incorrect but the naming is a bit confusing so I don't blame anyone for it.Ĭonfiguration Manager will now be under the Microsoft Endpoint umbrella, like you explained and well same as before it was under the System Center suite, so calling it MECM is correct.
